This is a full-time on-site role for a Weld Engineer Technologist located in Hartford, WI. The Weld Engineer Technologist will be responsible for overseeing and performing laser welding, arc welding, and welding inspection processes. The role will involve ensuring compliance with quality control standards and contributing to metallurgical analysis. Day-to-day tasks will include coordinating welding activities, conducting inspections, troubleshooting welding issues, and collaborating with the production team to maintain high safety and quality standards.
- Experience in Laser Welding and Arc Welding
- Knowledge of Quality Control and Welding Inspection techniques
- Understanding of Metallurgy and its application in welding
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications in welding and inspection are a plus
