- Load and unload trucks, rail cars, and containers.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels, and immediately report any malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by verifying and documenting the quantity and quality of items.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and balanced before transportation.
- Follow all safety guidelines, company procedures, and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Complete and maintain logs, records, and other relevant documentation.
- Valid forklift operator certification and experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts and material-handling equipment.
