We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our Alexandria team. Position Summary

The Leasing Agent is responsible for representing Standard Enterprises in the leasing of apartment homes while delivering outstanding customer service. This position works closely with the Property Manager to market the community, assist prospective residents, complete leasing paperwork, and support day-to-day office operations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents while providing exceptional customer service.

• Answer incoming calls and schedule leasing appointments.

• Conduct apartment and community tours.

• Process rental applications and lease documentation.

• Follow up with prospects and maintain accurate traffic reports.

• Accept and coordinate resident work orders.

• Assist with resident retention initiatives and community marketing.

• Maintain the appearance of the leasing office, model units, and community amenities.

• Collect rent and assist with resident notices when requested.

• Perform general administrative and clerical duties.

• Support the property team and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of one year of experience in leasing, sales, or customer service.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Knowledge of HUD, Section 8, Tax Credit, and Fair Housing regulations is preferred.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk the property and climb stairs.

• Ability to tour apartments with prospective residents.

• Ability to operate standard office equipment.

• Ability to perform light physical duties associated with property inspections and maintaining community appearance.

Compensation & Benefits

• $14.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience
