About the Role:

The Sales Development Associate will be responsible for seeking and qualifying prospects, building and developing strong relationships with customers through effective cold calling and outreach strategies. You will work closely with account managers to learn the ins and outs of the industry and develop your skills in sales and account management. The associate will utilize CRM tools to track interactions and manage leads efficiently. Your ultimate goal will be to become a successful account manager and contribute to the growth and success of our company.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License and personal transportation required. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
  • Knowledge in the wholesale distribution industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through outbound follow-up.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects / customers to meet or exceed sales goals set by direction of sales.
  • Develop knowledge of electrical products and value-added services that set us apart from the competition.
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
  • Research products and customers to identify how our solutions meet their needs.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and rekindling relationships at underservices accounts to create new sales.
