What You'll Be Doing
- Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently to move, stockpile, and load aggregate materials.
- Load customer and company vehicles accurately while maintaining product quality standards.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe yard, stockpile, and loadout areas.
- Support plant production and shipping activities to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in a quarry, mining, construction, industrial, or similar environment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify operational concerns, and communicate issues effectively.
- Dependable, self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to work productively in a fast-paced outdoor environment while adapting to changing operational needs.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
