Position SummaryThe Workplace Systems & Administration Coordinator supports the smooth functioning of Standard Builders’ technology, office operations, and employee engagement efforts. This role serves as the primary in-office point of contact for Aktion, our third-party IT support provider, and helps coordinate technology needs across the organization. The position also plays a key role in strengthening company culture by managing employee engagement activities, internal communications, and training coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with technology platforms, and the ability to collaborate effectively across the organization. Responsibilities IT & Systems CoordinationServe as the in-office liaison to Aktion (third-party IT provider), coordinating service tickets, device needs, and onsite support.Provide basic troubleshooting and in-office support before escalating issues to Aktion.Coordinate new device setup, deployment, and returns for laptops, phones, and tablets.Assist with help-desk activity via phone, email, and N-Central requests.Manage user accounts and access in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and OneDrive.Support user administration for Bluebeam, Sage, On-Screen Takeoff, and other construction-related platforms.Maintain office security systems, including Honeywell, key cards, and related vendor coordination.Collaborate with external providers (Verizon MDM, Jamf MDM, Cox, Crown Castle) for device management and service updates.Conduct light research to identify technology improvements or efficiencies. HR & Engagement SupportPlan and coordinate monthly company-wide engagement activities, including communication and feedback collection.Manage year-round leadership/employee feedback and follow-up process including scheduling, ensuring touchpoints are tracked and completed.Facilitate project surveys, track participation, and compile “Project Report Card” summaries.Track and follow up on all internal and external training, including online courses.Support internal trainers by collecting feedback and recommending process improvements.Track employee anniversaries and coordinate recognition with leadership.Lead monthly birthday celebration activities and communications.Provide general administrative and scheduling support to the President and leadership team, including employee notes, milestone acknowledgments, and culture-related initiatives.Company DescriptionStandard Builders is a mid-size construction company providing services to the private sector, to a collection of highly respected clients in commercial, higher education and health care.
