Production Laborer – 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

Standard Bent Glass is a leader in custom bent and specialty glass manufacturing. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help produce high-quality products used in industries ranging from architecture to transportation.
Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Laborers to assist in the production process. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn specialized skills in glass handling, fabrication, and finishing.
Shift Information:
- This position trains on first shift then moves to 2nd shift.
- Training Schedule: to start as soon as possible- 1st shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, OT Friday
- Regular Schedule (after training): 2nd shift – 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle, cut, and prepare glass for bending and finishing.
- Operate machinery and tools under supervision.
- Inspect glass for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Load and unload glass materials safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow company safety standards and production procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior manufacturing or labor experience helpful but not required (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
