The Sr. HR Generalist drives impactful onboarding experiences, champions employee engagement, and fosters a positive, high-energy workplace culture through strong communication, fair and consistent policy application, and proactive employee relations support. Delivers seamless HR operations-from compliance and reporting to cross-functional collaboration-while confidently managing sensitive information and resolving employee needs in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Conduct new hire orientation and any other necessary on-boarding activities.
Support employee engagement wide initiatives.
Provide administrative support including record keeping, file maintenance and HRTS entry.
Strives to ensure that there is strong communication of all employee programs in an effort to increase employee engagement and morale.
Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.
Assures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices.
Resolves any employee concerns.
Experience collaborating with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced environment.
May be involved in investigating employee related issues and/or concerns.
Works with assigned client groups to field basic questions concerning policies, procedures, benefits, payroll and processes.
Comply with all existing government, labor and legal reporting requirements to minimize company exposure to lawsuits and manages sensitive and confidential information.
Administer Department of Transportation (DOT) Program.
Policy administration, compliance reporting (EEOC, AAP, FAA reporting), I-9 administration etc.
Must demonstrate proficiency with common office tools such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Assist with recruiting efforts, candidate interview/selection, career fairs etc.
Carries out other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Resources
5 years' experience in Human Resources
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Experienced in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
