What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Medical Director position at Stand For Animals?
CLINIC MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Join a passionate, forward-thinking team that’s transforming the future of accessible veterinary care. As Medical Director, you’ll be at the heart of a nonprofit mission dedicated to ensuring that every pet—regardless of their family’s financial circumstances—can receive high-quality, compassionate medical treatment. Your leadership will directly shape a model of care that removes barriers, strengthens communities, and gives thousands of pets the opportunity to have access to care
In this dynamic role, you’ll guide medical standards, champion best practices, and inspire a culture of excellence across our multi-clinic organization. You’ll collaborate with an outstanding team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver progressive, efficient, and empathetic care that reflects our mission and values.
A key part of your impact will come through mentorship and development of newer veterinarians, helping them grow into confident, skilled, and mission-aligned clinicians. You’ll provide clinical coaching, model sound medical judgment, and cultivate an environment where learning, curiosity, and continuous improvement thrive.
