Bring the energy and help create unforgettable weekends At Don's TV & Repair! We’re hiring a Weekend Server who’s passionate about hospitality, great service, and keeping guests smiling when visits our speakeasy.
What you’ll do
- Welcome: Greet guests warmly and seat them with enthusiasm.
- Order & Serve: Take accurate food and drink orders via Aloha or Micros POS (or similar) and servepromptly with polished presentation.
- Upsell: Recommend menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage Tables: Juggle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining service quality.
- Cashiering: Handle payments and basic math for accurate billing.
- Clean & Reset: Buss tables, reset stations, and support kitchen staff as needed.
- Sanitation: Follow food-safety and sanitation protocols.
- Reservations: Use OpenTable or similar to manage bookings and optimize seating.
- Guest Relations: Resolve questions or concerns quickly and courteously.
What we’re looking for
- Weekend availability (Fri-Sun)
- Experience in restaurants, preferably fine dining or nightclubs.
- Comfortable with POS systems (Toast/Aloha) — experience a plus.
- Strong customer-service skills and ability to upsell.
- Food-safety knowledge and solid time-management skills.
- Basic cashiering/math skills.
- Prior hosting/serving experience preferred.
