Our Program is looking for a fun-loving, energetic individual to join our team! We are an adult day program dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. In this role, you will help our participants thrive through job coaching, teaching art, drama, and cooking classes, and building essential life skills out in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Enrichment Activities: Plan and teach fun classes in art, drama, cooking, and daily life skills.
- Provide Job Coaching: Guide and support participants at community job sites to build employment skills.
- Foster Independence: Assist participants with personal goals and daily life-skill development.
- Ensure Safety: Supervise individuals during on-site activities and outings in the community.
- Maintain Engagement: Bring a positive attitude and high energy every day to create a fun, supportive, learning environment.
Job Details & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:30 am – 2:30pm).
- Location: On-site and community-based.
Job Requirements
- Dependability: Must be reliable, punctual, and consistent for our participants.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a clean fingerprinting background clearance.
- Transportation: Must have a safe, reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and current insurance.
- Attitude: A positive, energetic, and fun-loving personality is required.
- Education: High School Diploma and 1 year of caregiving experience a big plus.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
