We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Network Construction Administrator to support the day-to-day administrative operations of a regional fiber Network Construction team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate billing, splicing documentation, and project tracking, while supporting the end-to-end delivery of small cell and enterprise fiber infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit purchase orders (POs) and construction management requests (CMs), and process contractor invoices for fiber splicing work.
- Review splice packages from the Fiber Engineering team and coordinate distribution to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with project financial tracking and milestone management, including vendor forecasting, PO issuance, invoicing, and resolution of past due items.
- Support the tracking of project deliverables, deadlines, and billing accuracy across all construction activities.
- Provide timely, accurate reports on project progress, budget variances, and operational KPIs.
- Communicate proactively with management and vendors to escalate and resolve issues before they become critical.
- Maintain open lines of communication across construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth implementation and service restoration.
- Order traffic control/police details for fiber splicing work when required.
- Understand and support the documentation requirements for service delivery, small cell installations, and closeout packages.
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in telecom network operations, construction coordination, or administrative project support.
- Strong understanding of fiber splicing, telecom billing processes, and PO/invoice workflows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and experienced in using ERP or project tracking systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with small cell or fiber delivery processes is highly preferred.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $35-45/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
