Senior IT Finance Program Manager

The Senior IT Finance Program Manager is responsible for leading a large-scale financial systems modernization program, overseeing multiple projects and workstreams across business, product, and engineering teams. This role establishes program governance, metrics, and reporting structures to ensure successful delivery across design, build, test, and deployment phases. The position requires strong financial systems expertise, executive-level communication, and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional environments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring alignment between IT delivery and financial business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-workstream program focused on financial systems modernization initiatives.

• Establish and manage program governance, documentation standards, and reporting methodologies.

• Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Partner with senior leadership and financial systems teams to drive execution and alignment.

• Coordinate multiple project managers, product owners, and engineering teams across initiatives.

• Monitor scope, risks, dependencies, and change management activities.

• Provide clear, consistent executive-level status updates and reporting.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks to ensure successful delivery.

• Ensure compliance with governance, functional, and technical requirements.

• Support design, build, testing, and deployment phases of large-scale IT programs.

Qualifications
Required:

• 8 yrs Program Management experience

• Needs exp as Program Manager for SAP or large financial systems

• Financial literacy, an understanding of accounting terminology and workflows

• SDLC and working with multiple software development teams

• Excellent communication skills

Preferred (Optional):

• Previous exp in media or finance

• MBA and/or PMP

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $75 - $90 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
