Data Analytics & AI Consultant

STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics and AI Consultant to support the enterprise-wide adoption of Artificial Intelligence-including GenAI, machine learning, and intelligent automation-as well as drive the implementation of our enterprise analytics strategy. This role will report to the Head of Enterprise Analytics and AI and operate within a cross-functional team delivering high-impact, analytics-driven transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, hands-on experience in analytics and AI programs, and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to influence enterprise-wide change.
This is an on-site position in New York City
Key Responsibilities
AI & Analytics Strategy Execution

• Assist in developing and executing strategic plans for the adoption of GenAI, machine learning, and intelligent automation across the enterprise.
• Support the continuous maturation of AI ideation intake, inventory management, prioritization frameworks, and governance routines.
• Coordinate with governance stakeholders and business use case owners to ensure alignment across AI initiatives.

Program & Project Leadership

• Provide direct and indirect leadership across multiple high-impact AI and analytics programs.
• Oversee coordination efforts, cross-functional alignment, and priority-setting processes for AI and automation projects.
• Manage budgets, resource planning, vendor relationships, and operational support for major initiatives.

AI & Automation Solution Implementation

• Support or drive the development and rollout of AI-driven solutions improving customer engagement, colleague productivity, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.
• Collaborate closely with technology teams and business partners to integrate AI solutions with existing systems and business processes.

Enterprise Analytics Enablement

• Assist in developing and executing an enterprise-level analytics and reporting strategy.
• Create implementation roadmaps designed to support organizational adoption and measurement.
• Engage and influence key reporting and analytics partners, ensuring alignment, sponsorship, and successful delivery.

Continuous Innovation & Governance

• Stay current with AI, machine learning, and automation advancements, applying new insights to enhance enterprise capabilities.
• Support additional enterprise initiatives focused on identifying and delivering high-value analytics and AI-driven improvements.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years leading or contributing to technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AI and/or analytics programs.
• Proven experience driving deliverables, influencing workstreams, and providing leadership across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 5 years in Financial Services strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and executive-level communication skills, including experience interacting with C-Suite and Board-level stakeholders.
• Experience leading, supporting, or executing major analytics or AI initiatives within large organizations-particularly financial institutions.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $77 - $87 / per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
