Job Summary

The CDL Driver’s primary responsibility is to safely transport products and equipment while adhering to regulations, maintaining vehicle integrity, and prioritizing the well-being of themselves and others on the road. This position will effectively and accurately load and unload and secure products and equipment. The CDL Driver will be responsible for inspections and reporting of any defects or maintenance issues.

Duties

· Safely and efficiently operate a commercial vehicle, such as a tractor-trailer, straight truck, or other designated vehicle, to transport products or equipment to specified destinations.

· Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.

· Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle's mechanical, electrical, and safety systems and promptly report any mechanical issues or repairs needed.

· Secure products and equipment using appropriate methods, such as straps, chains, or tarps, in order to prevent damage during transportation.

· Maintain accurate records of all trips, including trip logs, fuel consumption, and any incidents or violations.

Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· Valid Class A CDL driver’s license.

· Previous experience with construction tools and equipment preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
