What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endodontic Dental Assistant position at Stamos Endodontics?
We are a small, private practice endodontic specialty office looking for an additional Dental Assistant to add to our team. This position is full time. Experience is necessary.
Seeking an individual who is highly motivated, on-time & willing to work. As an assistant, your job is to assist chairside in dental procedures, keep the schedule moving on time and making patient’s feel comfortable.
Ideal candidates would help maintain a pleasant work environment, be organized and be able to follow high levels of infection control. Candidates must be comfortable assisting chairside, communicating with both patients & dental provider and have prior sterilization knowledge & experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- -Setting up/breaking down treatment rooms, maintaining a high level of infection control
- -Obtaining dental x-rays
- -Assisting chairside during dental procedures
- -Sterilizing instruments
- -Helping to answer phones & schedule appointments (as needed)
- -Maintaining cleanliness of dental office
- -Equipment maintenance (as needed)
Competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:45-4:15pm & rotating Friday's 8:00-12:OOpm
Pay: $19 /hour, based on experience
