General Statement:
The Assistant Director of Adult Education is responsible for ensuring high-quality, engaging, and relevant adult education programming for the Stamford community, and assists with operations of the adult, basic, and continuing education programs.
CSDE Educator Certification Requirements:
Candidates must hold or be eligible for certification by the time the position commences.
- CT CSDE Intermediate Administration or Supervision certification (092).

Note: Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in a language other than English, will be given preference for all Stamford Public School positions.
