About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Stamford Care Center, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and monitor treatment outcomes. With a focus on clinical excellence and resident satisfaction, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their care.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate ability to solve problems and work in a group setting to plan and implement nursing care of residents seeking assistance and guidance

• Coordinate and collaborate with resident/family, and other members of the comprehensive care health care team

• Monitor the administration and accurate recording of medications used

• Administer medication with knowledge of action, mode of administration, side effects, and contraindications

• Prepare set up for hangs, monitors, and discontinues intravenous fluids with accuracy, according to established procedures

• Effectively implement physician orders after consulting appropriate sources
