About the Role
Stamats is seeking a highly skilled and relationship-driven Senior Account Director to lead strategic client partnerships and oversee a wide variety of web and digital projects. This person will act as a trusted advisor to clients—listening deeply, identifying opportunities, and crafting solutions that advance their goals.
The Senior Account Director ensures projects move forward smoothly, teams stay aligned, and client expectations are exceeded. This role requires strong digital expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate business challenges into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
- Serve as the primary client partner, building long-term relationships based on trust, insight, and proactive communication.
- Quickly assess client needs, ask the right questions, and craft clear, actionable digital solutions.
- Conduct high level strategic conversations around digital marketing, content, UX, analytics, website updates, and overall digital growth, and bring in the subject matter expert as your partner.
- Identify opportunities to expand accounts, add value, and introduce new services that meet client goals.
- Love on our clients and dig in to know their institution and their individual needs.
Project Ownership & Delivery
- Drive projects forward by removing roadblocks, managing expectations, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Work closely with internal project managers, designers, developers, and content teams to ensure projects stay on track.
- Monitor project scope, budgets, timelines, and risks—escalating issues early and offering solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet Stamats’ quality standards and align with client objectives.
Business Development & Upselling
- Spot opportunities to expand engagements through added services, enhancements, or new initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership and technical experts to build proposals, estimates, and scopes of work.
- Confidently articulate the value of Stamats’ digital capabilities and guide clients toward the right solutions.
- Speak at conferences with your clients about successes.
- Work with the internal marketing team to build case studies regarding your client work.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with the internal team to ensure alignment across strategy, content, design, and development.
- Provide clarity, context, and direction to internal teams so they can deliver their best work.
- Help refine internal processes to improve workflow, communication, and client satisfaction.
