- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems when necessary, ensuring seamless operation of all mechanical components.
- Support property maintenance teams by providing expert advice on HVAC system upgrades or replacements.
- Handle refrigerants responsibly in compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems to ensure efficient completion.
- Engage in ongoing training to stay current with industry advancements such as HVAC design innovations and new equipment technologies.
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role within construction or property maintenance environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, boiler operation, mechanical equipment installations.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and the ability to work safely around hazardous materials.
- Experience working with plumbing systems related to HVAC setups is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient diagnostics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.51 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
