The Rental Manager manages department assets, activities, projects, and employees within the company’s financial, safety, quality, and operational guidelines/polices. Coordinates the rental of equipment to customers, including delivery and delegation of work. Manages any problems or changes with buildings and equipment once they are on lease.

- Develop proposals for all rental department projects, and coordinate communication between customers and Stallion on rental department projects and proposals
- Take customer’s calls, provide quotes, assemble order, and gather all information pertaining to the job
- Administer the scope of the project to field personnel and oversee the progression of the work
- Direct/Supervise employees on all customer rental projects to meet project milestones and guidelines.
- Continually monitor rental department for compliance with Stallion’s quality control plan
- Provide direction to Quality Control to supervise compliance with Stallion quality control plan for other departments
- Coordinate with all third party vendors and arrange for them to come in and take care of their part of the job scope
- Draft delivery tickets for shipping
- Schedule all trucking of buildings and equipment for shipment. Schedule personnel if needed to perform offshore hook up.
- Coordinate shipping and process delivery tickets for invoicing.
- Assist accounting with the creation and management of department budgets and implement controls over department to achieve yearly financial goals while maintaining operational, safety, quality goals.
- Direct the maintenance and improvement of current rental assets within allowed budget parameters
- Establish, continually develop, and maintain customer service standards while resolving all customer complaints or call outs.
- Collaborate with Sales team to develop new customer relationships, and maintain existing relationships.
- Provide assistance in developing and maintaining policies.
- Stay current on industry trends and advise upper management on changes that may affect our current business; such as, competitors, customers, regulations, rate changes, etc. and provide recommendations on how to manage these changes currently and in the future.
- Occasional travel required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint PowerPoint and Project
- Proficient in Rental Tools Management System (RTMS) or similar product
- Working knowledge of construction trades
