What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electro Mechanical Technician position at Stallion Infrastructure Services?
Electro Mechanical Technicians are responsible for connecting, setting up,and inspecting equipment for proper function. They will perform maintenance duties per Stallion’s maintenance procedure, including diagnosing, repairing, and load testing Light Tower, Natural Gas and Diesel Generators.

- Evaluate, test, troubleshoot, and repair all components of Light Towers, Diesel and Natural Gas Generators.
- Accurately complete and document work orders and service reports as required.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation of company assets.
- Work independently under limited supervision (self managed).
- Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental requirements including but not limited to, completing daily Job Safety Analysis, near miss and hazard reports.
- Goal oriented and driven to accomplish results.
- Provide own basic hand tools.
- Must be proficient with diagnostic software to diagnose and repair Diesel and Natural Gas Generators.
- Must be proficient in both mechanical and electrical applications and have knowledge in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Diesel and Natural Gas generators.
- Fabrication skills – welding and cutting steel and aluminum.
- Basic knowledge of solar technology (batteries, charge controllers, and solar panels).
- Basic knowledge of Controllers (Basler, Deep Sea, and DEIF).
- Basic knowledge of Emmision control systems for Diesel and Natural Gas engines.
- Knowledgeable with Medium voltage electrical equipment (load banks and distribution panels).
- Understanding the operation functions of marine engine that has been converted to a bi fuel natural gas engine
- Understand the function of an LP vaporizer, air system EPR, throttle bodies, air fuel mixture.
- Be able to identify valve recession and be able to complete head replacement on engine.
- Must have knowledge of a 400amp-600amp breaker and motorizer assembly
- Understand and ability to adjust an AVR.
- Ability to properly commission generator and size to a specific job, VRU, ESP, CTB and compressor station.
- Some understanding of natural gas fuel source, propane, LNG, LP, recognizing high BTU content and regulate fuel pressure.
- EGSA Certification a plus
- 3-5 years of working experience in the power generation field
- Must be 21 years of age
- Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License
- A motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements
- Have an acceptable criminal history record
