What are the responsibilities and job description for the Picker/Packer (Monday to Friday) position at Stallion Express?
We're looking for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to join our brand new, fast-paced fulfillment team in Cheektowaga, NY! If you're experienced in picking and packing high volumes, think 100 orders per hour and enjoy working in a collaborative warehouse environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.
Schedule:
- Days: Monday to Friday.
- Time: 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with a keen eye for detail and speed.
- Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure order accuracy and product quality.
- Warehouse Organization: Regularly move, organize, and restock boxes to maintain an efficient and orderly workspace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow team members and warehouse leadership to improve workflows and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety standards at all times and contribute to a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- 3 years of picking/packing experience preferred, but not required
- Open to entry-level candidates eager to learn
- Familiar with processes like picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
- Comfortable using tablets, computers, and pallet jacks
- Track record of meeting daily productivity targets
- Strong communication skills and a team player
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit; capable of lifting and moving boxes regularly
- Adaptable, fast-paced, and eager to learn
