Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for creating accurate material cost estimates and comprehensive bid proposals to support project planning and execution. The Estimator will work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to ensure each project aligns with budgetary and operational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum of 1 year industry experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create detailed material cost estimates for assigned projects.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that are competitive, accurate, and aligned with project requirements and specifications.
• Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships with industry partners.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities through value engineering.
• Monitor and track project costs and assist with change order pricing and cost control.
• Maintain organized and well-documented records of project work.
• Work closely with the branch management and sales staff to ensure customer’s needs are understood.
