Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and accounting software, with experience in manufacturing environments, This role involves managing financial statements, reconciling accounts, costing and inventory. The Accountant will play a key role in supporting financial analysis, budgeting, and internal controls to facilitate sound financial management across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end closing processes
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely processing and compliance
- Perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with regulatory reporting obligations and internal audits,
- Utilize accounting software and familiar with ERP systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of financial transactions and report writing for management review
- Oversee and consolidate financial results for multiple production sites.
- Develop and monitor cost accounting models and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead process improvements in cost tracking, reporting, and controls.
- Conduct detailed variance and margin analyses for leadership.
- Support strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Serve as a liaison among accounting, operations, and supply chain.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience in manufacturing accounting environments
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial analysis, financial report writing & interpretation, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger reconciliation
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail; ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
- Effective communication skills for preparing reports and mentoring team members
- Deep knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
