General Summary:
- Sets up and operates Laser/Water Jet to fabricate parts.

Essential Job Functions:
- Programs water jet and lasers.
- Plan sequence of operations and review blueprints to ensure precision.
- Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
- Set up, maintain and operate laser and water jet.
- Complete assignments on-time and correctly.
- Operate Forklift to move materials, load and unload materials with suction cups and cranes.
- Deburr parts as necessary.
- Completes manufacturing documentation in a timely manner.
- Follows all safety guidelines as noted in Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of difference on thicknesses and types of stainless materials.
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the use of cutting tools.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
- Ability to read cut sheets, blueprints, and tape measures.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Computer experience.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working Conditions:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and risk of radiation. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions.

- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
