What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic position at Stahl-Meyer Foods, Inc.?
Job Duties To Include But Not Limited To
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
- Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
- Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Comply with OSHA Safety, Lockout Tagout, and Health Rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed by Supervisor.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
