What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk-Driver Check-In position at Stagnaro Distributing?
Stagnaro Distributing has an exciting opportunity for a Driver Check-In Clerk to provide services at our Kentucky location in Erlanger, KY.
Our Driver Check-In Clerks ensure that all delivery invoicing and income is accounted for and correctly balanced in the computer system in a timely manner.
Hours are primarily M-F (Rare weekends) 10A-6PM. Can fluctuate based on business needs
Rate: Based on experience- Starts at $17.00/hr
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensures proper receipt of all delivery paperwork (e.g. load sheets) prior to balancing invoices and income.
- Reviews and verifies the final product and income on each individual invoice .
- Accurately counts and verifies incoming monies/payments and matches with appropriate invoices.
- Accurately enters correct income information into the computer system.
- Accurately enters correct invoice product information into the computer system to ensure a proper inventory count.
- Ensures that there are no ticket errors during the check-in process.
- Provides a copy of all checks to AR for future reference.
- Properly records and communicates to appropriate personnel outstanding balances for future collection.
- Correctly deposits all monies/payments from the day's transactions.
- Assists to complete all automated financial processes (ie. Fintech) in a correct and timely fashion.
- Immediately informs management of issues concerning invoicing, pricing and money counts.
- Prepares and files all dated invoices and documents related to the check in procedure needed for storage.
- Completes the procedures for daily close in the computer system in a correct and timely manner.
- Ensures all sales reps have properly transmitted all product orders for the next days scheduled stops.
- Ensures load crew personnel receive all product loading information to build and load vehicles prior to the start of the shift.
- Produces and provides to operations all route manifests for delivery personnel for the next days schedule stops.
General Responsibilities
- Has working knowledge of the entire portfolio of brands.
- Completes and submits all paperwork in a correct and timely fashion.
- Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Works with other employees to ensure that team building, professionalism and a positive environment occur within the company.
- Creates and maintains positive and open lines of communication between all working departments.
- Works to resolve all customer complaints within 24 hours and ensure there are no reoccurring problems.
- Maintains appropriate dress and appearance.
- Performs any other necessary duties as directed by management.
