Duties and Responsibilities:
- CNC programming, set up & operation of CNC Vertical Mills for standard & custom parts
- Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning
- Knowledge of trouble shooting machines
- Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule
- Train and oversee machine operators
- Must be familiar with steel and aluminum
- Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc.
- Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings.
- Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
- Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required
- Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Maintain clean equipment and work area
- Forklift certified preferred
- Perform related duties, as assigned
- Trade school graduate, or equivalent.
- 5 years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers
- Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solidworks and MasterCam
- Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus
- Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.
- Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal places
- Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus
- Must have reliable transportation
