What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Stagehand (Freelance) position at Stagedge?
Stagedge is Seeking Responsible and Dependable Stagehands to Join our Growing team of Production Professionals!
Stagehands will work under the direction of our onsite TD’s and will perform multiple tasks related to the show production including but not limited to:
- Loading /unloading equipment on trucks using proper safety protocols and proper handling and care of all equipment/ cases.
- On job site ensure gear gets to the proper destination within the venue.
- Working with the different departments onsite to assist on set up and/or strikes ( Audio, Video, Lighting ).
- Assist with setting up or taking down Scenic elements, assist with cabling, drape as needed.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, be respectful and have strong interpersonal skills.
Experience preferred but willing to train.
