Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Furniture Mover / Box Truck Driver to join our home staging team. This position plays a key role in transporting, loading, unloading, and placing furniture and décor for staging projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys physical activity, and can represent our company professionally while working in clients' homes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to transport furniture, artwork, décor, and staging inventory between homes and our warehouse.
- Load, unload, move, and place furniture while exercising care to prevent damage to inventory and client property.
- Assist with staging and destaging homes according to project requirements.
- Secure furniture and inventory properly during transport.
- Maintain organization of furniture and staging inventory in the warehouse and truck.
- Follow delivery schedules and assist in completing projects efficiently and on time.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with clients, homeowners, and real estate professionals.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving a box truck or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy furniture on a regular basis.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable performing physical labor and working in various residential settings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, furniture delivery, warehouse operations, or home staging.
Hours
This is a part-time position with flexible but inconsistent hours. Work may range from 0–40 hours per week, depending on project schedules and workload. Some weeks may have limited hours, while others may require additional availability.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week
