Salary £39,638 per annum Bus Electrician Based at our Oldham Depot, located at Oldham, Greater Manchester Salary - £20.03 per hour. 38 hours per week Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (flexible) Looking for a hands-on electrical role where your skills power the future of transport? What you’ll be doing: Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults across our fleet of buses and coaches Working on vehicle systems including lighting, wiring, batteries, charging systems, and control units Supporting maintenance and inspection activities to ensure vehicles meet DVSA and Stagecoach safety standards Using diagnostic equipment and software to identify and resolve issues Assisting with the introduction and maintenance of electric and hybrid vehicles Completing all work safely, accurately, and in line with company procedures Collaborating with technicians and workshop teams to keep vehicles road-ready What we’re looking for: Relevant qualifications in electrical or automotive engineering (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems (PSV, HGV, automotive, rail, or plant backgrounds welcomed) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills A proactive, safety-first approach and attention to detail Confidence using modern diagnostic tools and equipment A team player with good communication skills A full UK driving licence Why choose Stagecoach?
