Business Development Manager — FF&E Procurement & Amenities
Stage One NYC | Brooklyn, NY (hybrid, regular field time across the five boroughs) | Full-time | Reports to CEO & Head of Sales
Stage One furnishes the spaces that lease the building — lobbies, rooftops, coworking lounges, spas, and leasing offices. We are a full-service FF&E procurement and installation partner for large-scale residential development.
The Role: Win the FF&E package on new construction and renovation projects in the finishes phase.
What You'll Do: Find projects approaching the finishes phase and land meetings with developers, owner's reps, designers, and GCs. Secure the FF&E schedule for pricing, build competitive proposals with our estimating team, and present to win. Sell our warehousing, receiving, inspection, storage, and white-glove installation as the differentiators they are. Keep the pipeline honest in our CRM.
What You Need: 3 years selling into new construction (contract furniture, FF&E, construction services, or commercial real estate) — this is an outbound hunting role, not inbound leads or showroom. You can read a spec set and speak the language of construction. You're comfortable closing large contracts and you're disciplined about CRM. You'll be in the field on active construction sites most weeks — valid driver's license required. Helpful but not required: existing NYC developer/designer/GC/brokerage relationships and multifamily amenity or model-unit experience.
Territory: NY metro (NY, NJ, CT).
Compensation & Benefits: $65,000–$85,000 base uncapped commission on signed contracts (full plan shared before offer). Paid time off and company holidays.
