Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Nursing in Lakewood, CO. The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the care staff, managing day-to-day clinical operations, and ensuring high standards of quality resident care and compliance with state and federal regulations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing nursing guidelines, managing infection control protocols, supervising care plans for residents, training and supporting nursing staff, and collaborating with other departments for seamless care delivery. The role requires effective leadership, a commitment to resident-centered care, and a proactive approach to improve long-term care outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in Nursing Management and Long-term Care settings
- Expertise in Infection Control practices and implementation of related protocols
- Solid knowledge and clinical skills in Nursing and Medicine
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-management abilities
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Exceptional understanding of senior care regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in care planning and providing support for seniors and their families
