In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing prep needs for both divisions in the afternoons/evenings OR EARLY mornings (flexible for the right candidate) The ideal candidate is experienced and committed to maintaining strict standards. Hours each week can vary 25 - 40 hours, but the more you want to learn/train for, the more opportunity for work. Most holidays off and extended time off over Christmas and New Year. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain appropriate levels of menu inventory and restock when necessary
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Complete assigned prep lists for restaurant (standard menu) and catering needs (BEOs)
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
- Clean your station/kitchen space at the end of your shift, including mopping floors as needed
- Operating company vehicle as needed for catering deliveries or shopping
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and commercial equipment operation
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Excellent time management skills and ability to stay on task unsupervised
