Job Overview:
STAG Partners is looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to lead our growth initiatives in the multifamily construction and renovation sector. This role will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the construction industry, with a deep understanding of multifamily projects and client acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive company growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the multifamily construction and renovation sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including developers, property managers, and investors.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify potential areas for growth.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Lead efforts to secure new clients and projects, from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations to meet the specific needs of potential clients.
  • Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project handovers and successful execution.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships that enhance the company’s market position and capabilities.
  • Negotiate and formalize partnership agreements that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Leverage partnerships to create new revenue streams and expand service offerings.

Branding & Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the company’s brand visibility and reputation in the industry.
  • Represent STAG Partners at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand awareness.
  • Oversee the development of marketing materials and content that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing business development team, providing mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
  • Set performance targets and provide regular feedback to ensure team members meet and exceed goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the business development team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction or real estate industry, with a focus on multifamily projects.
  • Proven success in developing and executing business development strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and a deep understanding of the multifamily construction market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

Ability to Relocate:

  • Cincinnati, OH 45202: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
