Job Title: Python Developer with MCP Servers

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite/Hybrid as per project needs)

Employment Type: 6 Months Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with MCP Server expertise to join our team supporting AT&T through Accenture. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in backend development, server-side systems, and emerging Agentic AI frameworks. This role requires designing, building, maintaining, and testing core server infrastructure that enables the deployment and interaction of intelligent AI agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain MCP server infrastructure to support backend and AI-driven applications.
• Develop, test, and optimize agent-level coding frameworks to enable autonomous and semi-autonomous agent behaviors.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless data exchange across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate Agentic AI solutions into server architecture.
• Create and execute testing frameworks to validate complex, distributed systems.
• Troubleshoot server and backend issues, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (technical and non-technical) to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in backend software development with a strong focus on server-side technologies.
• Proficiency in Python (required); additional backend languages a plus.
• Hands-on expertise in MCP servers and backend infrastructure.
• Strong understanding or practical experience in Agentic AI frameworks, autonomous agents, or AI-driven system design.
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and JSON/XML data exchange.
• Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and distributed system validation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work with diverse technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in telecom or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to AI/ML deployment pipelines and agent orchestration tools.
