We are seeking an enthusiastic Data Analyst with 2-3 years of experience to contribute to our data team within the banking sector. This role offers an opportunity to grow skills in requirements analysis, data governance, and hands-on data manipulation. The successful candidate will support senior team members by performing core analytical tasks, ensuring data quality, and assisting with reporting development using Python and SQL.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Support: Assist senior analysts in internal customer meetings to understand and document basic data and reporting needs.
- Documentation: Contribute to requirements mapping and basic documentation efforts to support data engineering partners.
- Data Governance & Quality: Participate in Metadata registration activities and assist in configuring and testing basic data quality rules.
- ETL Support: Support the coordination of testing efforts for ETL pipelines and validate results under guidance.
- Hands-On Analysis & Reporting: Execute core analytical tasks, leveraging proficiency in SQL for data extraction and Python for manipulation. Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reports.
- Communication: Utilize strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role.
- Technical Proficiency: Foundational, hands-on experience with SQL (writing complex queries) and working knowledge of Python for data tasks (e.g., Pandas).
- Analytical Skills: Basic proficiency in data cleansing, analysis, and reporting development.
