About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work on our night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electromechanical systems of the plant in accordance with codes, regulations, and specifications.
- Modify and adjust complex process equipment and instruments.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on installed electromechanical equipment.
- Effectively troubleshoot complex problems associated with electromechanical machinery.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in related field or five plus years related experience as an industrial maintenance technician (electrical/mechanical).
- Broad knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, electronic controls and devices, and electrical/electronic theory.
- Ability to read and interpret complex documents such as wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, instructions, safety rules, codebooks, and specifications.
- Ability to communicate one-on-one effectively with employees with a strong focus on customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Allan Bradley PLC/Drive commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- Siemens PLC/Drive commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
- AC/DC Motor Maintenance experience.
- HVAC certification or maintenance experience.
- Advanced hydraulic/pneumatic commissioning and troubleshooting experience.
Working Conditions:
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Occasional sitting, below waist level work, balancing, carrying, reaching, fine motor skills, forceful motion, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
