Pipefitter Journeyman
Staffworks Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Massachusetts Licensed Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate will have experience installing and connecting large-diameter piping systems (4 inches and larger) in commercial and industrial settings. Candidates with rigging, hoisting, and pipe welding experience are highly preferred. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork.
Location: Waltham, MA
Pay: $40.00–$45.00 per hour (based on experience)
Requirements:
- Current Massachusetts Journeyman Pipefitter License (required).
- OSHA 10 Certification (required).
Responsibilities:
- Install, fit, assemble, and connect piping systems 4 inches and larger.
- Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometric drawings, and project specifications.
- Lay out, align, and secure piping systems according to project requirements.
- Work safely with rigging and hoisting equipment to move and position large pipes and materials.
- Coordinate with welders, equipment operators, and other trades to complete installations efficiently.
- Assist with field modifications and system testing as required.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following company safety policies.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced commercial or industrial construction environment.
