We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dining Manager to oversee all aspects of our dining operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering an exceptional guest dining experience, managing front-of-house staff, and ensuring smooth, professional service at every meal. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, natural leader, and passionate about hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, ensuring consistently high standards of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house dining staff, fostering a positive and professional team environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal service, menu rollouts, and special dining experiences.
- Manage dining reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure a seamless experience.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and manage dining budgets, labor costs, and supply needs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support and execute private events, special dinners, and curated dining packages.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and allergens to guide staff and assist guests.
- Uphold and reinforce a culture of warm, attentive, and personalized Southern hospitality.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in a dining management or front-of-house leadership role, preferably in an upscale, resort, or fine dining environment.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a hospitality team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Experience with reservations systems and point-of-sale (POS) platforms.
- Food Handler’s certification or ServSafe Manager certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Passion for local, seasonal dining and a genuine love of hospitality.
