Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong general knowledge of accounting principles and hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and contributing to the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and collections.
- Prepare, review, and post general ledger journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations of bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain and update financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements as needed.
