Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed estimates for large and complex projects.
- Analyze client specifications and drawings to fully understand project scope.
- Create construction plans that serve as the foundation for cost estimates.
- Perform precise quantity take-offs when applicable.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to design, rates, and scheduling.
- Present and reconcile estimates with business development teams and clients.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed.
- Establish preliminary project schedules to support planning efforts.
Qualifications & Skills
- Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven expertise in estimating for complex construction projects.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with scheduling and design tools such as P6, CAD, and AGTEK.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS HeavyBid is a plus.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, including occasional extended hours.
