The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is sourcing for an industry-leading defense and aerospace pioneer to identify a visionary Senior Electrical Engineering Specialist. In this high-impact position, you will drive the architectural conceptualization, design, and execution of advanced safety and arming systems for critical national defense technologies. Partnering directly with StaffRight Associates, you will join an agile, highly innovative engineering team creating state-of-the-art fuzing mechanisms that push the boundaries of modern defense technology.
What You’ll Do
Architect robust FPGA topologies, integrated digital logic, and embedded microcontrollers tailored for high-reliability safety mechanisms.
Synthesize advanced Verilog hardware description code targeting specialized antifuse and flash-based hardware architectures.
Execute comprehensive system-level functional validation, performance diagnostics, and real-time debugging across target hardware platforms and test environments.
Champion continuous engineering quality and workflow enhancements to optimize product development cycles and firmware reliability.
Program efficient algorithms and hardware-level operations using embedded programming practices.
What You Bring
Bachelor''s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline with 6 years of technical experience, a Master''s Degree with 4 years of experience, or 10 years of equivalent hands-on industry expertise.
Verilog and Logic Design core competencies for digital architecture development.
Embedded C mastery, including advanced data structure manipulation, algorithm design, and resource-optimized hardware control.
Lab Equipment Diagnostics proficiency using Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE Debuggers, and Protocol Analyzers.
System Design Life Cycle knowledge spanning unit testing, architectural reviews, rapid prototyping, and full verification methodologies.
Version Control Tools experience, including Git, Subversion, or TFS.
Digital Design Principles expertise, encompassing state machines, timing chains, and hardware interfaces.
SystemVerilog and UVM (or AVM, VMM, OVM) verification framework capabilities (preferred).
C# Programming capability targeting advanced microcontroller units (preferred).
Compensation & Total Rewards
Base Salary: (Commensurate with experience).
Work Schedule: Compressed 4/10 schedule (four 10-hour workdays per week).
