What You’ll Do
Direct the full lifecycle of purchasing requirements for domestic manufacturing facilities to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity.
Analyze dynamic market conditions to anticipate industry trends, pricing shifts, and technological advancements across the supply landscape.
Execute comprehensive supplier selection initiatives, incorporating total cost of ownership assessments and rigorous contract negotiations.
Cultivate robust vendor partnerships through strategic on-site evaluations, performance audits, and continuous engagement.
Architect forward-thinking commodity strategies to enhance purchasing power, optimize expenses, and guarantee material availability.
Synthesize complex vendor data, maintaining meticulous records of specifications, pricing trajectories, and historical performance metrics.
Drive enterprise-wide cost reduction workshops and spearhead corrective action plans to elevate supplier quality and accountability.
Collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional divisions to mitigate risks and elevate overall supply chain efficacy.
Forecast material budgets and track key performance indicators to align purchasing activities with broader organizational milestones.
What You Bring
Bachelors in supply chain, business, logistics, chemistry, or a related field.
5 years of procurement experience within the manufacturing sector.
Plastics Compounding, Chemical Engineering, Resins, Titanium Dioxide, Carbon Black, Chemical Additives, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Contract Law
Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints and complex engineering documents.
Proven capacity to manage multiple projects independently, alongside a willingness to travel as required.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Direct-hire annual base salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 USD.
