Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our rock quarry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential clients, managing existing accounts, and promoting our products and services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in quarry stone and aggregate and a strong background in customer service and sales. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate leads and effectively follow through from order to final delivery of our offerings.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in your assigned territory to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular visits to potential and existing customers to promote products and services.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or territory sales related to rock quarry products including aggregate and decorative wall stone products.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Experience in upselling products and services effectively.
- Proficiency in using software tools for managing leads and tracking sales performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel within the assigned territory.
