Resident Care Director, Nurse RN/LPN– Job Summary
The Resident Care Director will play a critical role within our community, focusing on ensuring high-quality nursing care that aligns with our “Love Well, Love Life” philosophy. This position involves a blend of leadership, clinical expertise, and strategic planning to meet the health and wellness needs of our residents. This position is a key pillar in the overall success of our community. This position is full-time and will require some weekends as well as on call availability.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all Resident assessments.
- Oversee care plan implementation and monitor effectiveness.
- Meet regularly with resident and family to evaluate service needs and changes.
- Monitors and maintains compliance with all state regulations, including all nursing associates compliance.
- Implements and monitors training programs and in-services for all associates in accordance with company and state assisted living regulations.
- Responsible for the oversight of the S.A.M.M. and LMA program for residents.
- Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse completed State-required training .
- Requires the ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public.
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Physically able to move at least 25 lbs. without assistance.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist residents as needed and in emergencies.
