DIAGNOSTIC ELECTRICIAN – Industrial / Commercial (I/II/III)
PERMANENT – DIRECT HIRE – FULL TIME (50-60HRs per week)

- up to $45/hr. BASE pay
- up to $10,200 annual BONUS (split quarterly)

What You Will Do
- Perform preventative maintenance, installation, repair & troubleshooting of industrial electrical &/or instrumentation equipment including substations, power distribution systems, switchgear, motors, motor controls, process controls, instrumentation & pneumatic equipment
- Perform electrical systems analysis, diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting & systems/process optimization
- Maintain, repair & install electrical systems supporting mill/process operations including conveyors, boilers, reagent areas, acid house, power distribution, air & water systems
- Perform preventative maintenance including motor checks, loop checks, circuit metering, calibration & inspections
- Work on switchgear & distribution systems including grounding & LOTOTO procedures
- Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, grounding, box installation & load/feeder calculations
- Troubleshoot & maintain PLCs, VFDs, HMI, SCADA, AC/DC drives & instrumentation systems
- Perform calibration, loop checks & repair of process instrumentation including pressure, flow, level, temperature & analytical devices
- Maintain HVAC, refrigeration & cooling systems including compressors, pumps, fans, coils, chillers & associated electrical controls
- Read & interpret technical manuals, AutoCAD drawings, electrical prints, schematics & electronic drawings
- Train & mentor employees on safety, preventative maintenance, print reading, audits & electrical installations
- Operate equipment including forklifts, bucket trucks, boom trucks, backhoes, high-lift trucks & light-duty vehicles
- Work rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operation while maintaining safe production standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical &/or Instrumentation Program, OR
- Minimum four (4) years of Industrial Electrical &/or Instrumentation repair & maintenance experience, OR
- Associate's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field & two (2) years of Industrial Electrical &/or Instrumentation repair & maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting, maintaining & repairing electrical circuits, instrumentation & connected equipment
- Ability to read & apply technical manuals, prints & schematics for troubleshooting & repair
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices, LOTOTO procedures & safe work standards
- Must complete required academic/practical competencies & pass required assessments/testing
- Must maintain required personal tools & PPE
- Able to work in industrial, mine, manufacturing & outdoor environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with low, medium & high voltage systems
- Experience with AC/DC controls, PLCs, VFDs, HMI & SCADA systems
- Experience with instrumentation devices & diagnostic electrical test equipment
- Experience with substations, transformer installation & powerline maintenance
- Experience with HVAC/refrigeration systems & controls
- Experience operating bucket trucks, boom trucks & heavy mobile equipment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD & electronic drawings
- Experience with SAP software
- HVAC certifications, EPA 608, NATE or ICE certifications preferred
- Experience with conduit bending, grounding, calibration & process optimization
