Opportunity Highlights
- Day shift leadership opportunity with a major acute care hospital in Central Florida
- Lead surgical services for a Level II Trauma program with 13 operating rooms and 2 cardiovascular operating rooms
- Diverse surgical mix including cardiovascular, trauma, orthopedics, spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and vascular
- Advanced robotic surgery platform including Mako and three Da Vinci XI systems
- Approximately 650 to 700 surgical cases each month
- Leadership scope includes 80 to 90 FTEs and four direct report managers across the operating room, sterile processing, pre and post services, and endoscopy
- Direct reporting relationship to the hospital COO
- Director bonus opportunity with significant upside potential
Qualifications
- At least two years of recent acute care Director of Surgical Services experience
- Experienced operating room managers from large trauma centers may also be considered
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Master’s degree preferred
