POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Designer & Sales Professional is responsible for generating new business, designing premium outdoor living spaces, and guiding clients through the full sales process with expertise, confidence, and relationship-first professionalism.

Job Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through daily/weekly prospecting activities, referrals, relationship networks, and self-generated lead activity.
- Drive the full sales cycle from initial client engagement through contract signing and handoff to construction.
- Demonstrate strong value-based selling skills-educating clients on quality, craftsmanship, and long-term value rather than competing on price.
- Deliver clear, professional proposals and articulate all design, pricing, and project elements with accuracy and confidence.
- Attend local networking events, builder/landscaper meetings, Chamber activities, and targeted community events to grow brand presence and referral relationships.
Client Experience & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client interactions throughout the design and sales phase.
- Build trust through transparency, responsiveness, and educated guidance on materials, features, and construction expectations.
- Ensure a seamless transition from sales to construction via a professional, detailed handoff.
- Maintain high standards of follow-through, communication, and overall customer experience.
Performance & Team Alignment
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals related to new contracts, revenue volume, pricing accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings, ongoing coaching, and continuous learning opportunities.
- Maintain CRM accuracy for all leads, opportunities, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
Job requirements:
- 5–10 years of professional sales experience in pools, landscape construction, outdoor living, home renovation, or related industries.
- Proven track record of top performance, quota achievement, and strong closing ratios.
- Demonstrated ability to self-generate leads and build strong referral networks.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to read site conditions, plans, and construction concepts.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (or commensurate experience).
- Experience working in a high-end, design-forward environment with discerning clientele.
- Strong understanding of permitting processes, construction terminology, and technical requirements. (preferred)
